While we encourage regularly scheduled grooms, we understand that is not always possible. Our pet grooming prices in Miami, FL, reflect the range of services we offer based on what you need. Please call if you have any questions about our pet grooming prices, or call to book an appointment.
A La Carte
Our a la carte services include customized services from a specialist team member. Please book these services at least a week ahead of time.
Our express service is one of our most popular bookings. This grooming service reduces the stress on your pet by ensuring their experience is as brief as possible with minimal fuss. Sensitive pets and their “parents” appreciate that this service can cut a typical groom down by at least an hour. For pets who require a three to four-hour groom, an hour can make a significant difference to their anxiety level.
The express groom is only available to animals with consistent maintenance. Extra services such as de-matting will incur additional charges.
Bathing & Clean-Up
$75 | Small Breeds
$85 | Medium & Large Breeds
This service is considered the general maintenance groom for most dogs. It includes:
Express Anal Glands
Trim Privates & Face (when necessary)
Hair & Nails
$90 | Small Breeds
$120 | Medium & Large Breeds
Ask us about our most comprehensive grooming service. It includes all Bathing and Clean-Up services, as well as a full-body trim tailored to your request. We base our pricing on the labor involved in the groom, not the dog breed. You may also request an a la carte nail trim and hand-buffing for an additional $30.
Just ask about adding teeth cleaning to your pet’s grooming session!
THE DOG FROM IPANEMA also offers cat grooming! The most common haircut for a cat is the lion trim. We will also brush out long-coated breeds upon request. However, we cannot offer baths for the feline set as they insist it is the equivalent of waterboarding.
De-Matting | De-Shedding
$125/Hour | Cording, Hand Stripping, & De-Matting
Most dogs and cats have a different hair type than humans. Many breeds have a double-coat, which includes long, coarse outer hairs with soft undercoats like wool. Your dog or cat will undergo seasonal shedding depending on the weather and daylight hours. They’ll lose their coat quickly, and then it will start to regrow for the new season.
While your pet sheds, it’s essential to have them professionally groomed. If the coat is not removed and gets wet, it will start to mat and make its removal much more challenging. A groomer will remove the excess hair, and your pet will feel a lot better!
The De-Matting Experts
A de-matting service can take hours and could be painful if performed by an inexperienced groomer. Fortunately, Jarbas has passed decades of de-matting knowledge down to his team. His previous experience as an Afghan breeder has served him well!
With no pain and minor hair loss, our groomers can transform your pet with little stress and lots of love. A de-matting service takes time, so it’s important to notify our staff of your pet’s condition before the appointment. Please note that extra time means extra charges. It’s crucial that if your furry friend is matted, you seek professional help to resolve the situation.
